PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pillar beam connection structure in which an upper floor pillar can be connected at a free position in a plane of an upper end of a pillar beam connection part.;SOLUTION: A pillar beam connection structure 20 for connecting different diameter pillars of a building is characterized in that a lower end of a pillar beam connection part core 22 of a non-diaphragm form is welded and connected to an upper end of a lower floor pillar 3, and an upper floor pillar 2 with a diameter smaller than that of the lower floor pillar 3 is welded and connected to an upper end of the pillar beam connection part core. The pillar beam connection structure includes: a pillar beam connection joint 21 for connecting the different diameter pillars formed such that a quadrangular plate-like horizontal plane material 23 circumferentially forming grooves is welded and connected in an upper part inside of the pillar beam connection part core 22; a lower floor pillar 3 welded and connected to the lower end of the pillar beam connection joint 21 for connecting the different diameter pillars; and an upper floor pillar 2 with a diameter smaller than that of the lower floor pillar welded and connected to the upper end surface of the pillar beam connection joint for connecting the different diameter pillars. The horizontal plane material 23 is welded and connected to the upper end inner surface of the pillar beam connection part core 22 so that the upper surface becomes flush with the upper end surface of the pillar beam connection part core 22. The upper floor pillar with the diameter smaller than that of the lower floor pillar can be easily connected.
