PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To respond to an incoming call to another private telephone by arbitrary response method by proxy.;SOLUTION: A private branch exchange system comprises: a private branch exchange for controlling call incoming to a private telephone; and a communication device for communicating with the private branch exchange. The private branch exchange comprises: a response method list transmission unit for transmitting response method list information showing a list of response methods for call incoming to a private telephone when an incoming call to the private telephone arrives; and a response processing unit for responding to the incoming call to the private telephone by using a response method reported from the communication device by using response method report information for reporting a response method selected from the list of response methods. The communication device comprises: a response method list display unit for displaying the list of response methods shown by the response method list information from the private branch exchange; and a response method report unit for transmitting response method report information for reporting a response method selected according to input for selecting any response method from the list of response methods.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
