PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receptacle with a grounding electrode in which whether or not a grounding system is functioning normally can be checked and, further, the functioning state data of the grounding system can be checked by accumulating with the passage of years, and when a fault is predicted in the grounding system, comprehension of a failure point and an analysis of its cause can be performed promptly.;SOLUTION: The receptacle 1 with a grounding electrode 102 has, in its case, a determination portion of grounding state installed in a case of the receptacle 1 and a memory portion to store with the passing of time various data obtained by the determination portion, and on the side of the receptacle 1 into which a blade of insertion plug 2 is inserted, a determination state discriminating portion 100 in which the state of determination can be visible from the insertion side of the insertion plug 2 of the receptacle 1 and an interface to read the data stored in the memory portion from the insertion side of the insertion plug 2 of the receptacle are installed.
