PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comfort evaluation method of wearing article capable of objectively evaluating the comfort of a wearing article by associating measured values based on near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) and physical properties of the wearing article.;SOLUTION: The comfort evaluation method comprises the steps of: acquiring a time-base waveform data of a frictional resistance force which is generated in a second direction opposite to a first direction when gently passing a hand along the first direction over the surface of a wearing article which comes into contact with a skin; carrying out a Fourier transform on the acquired waveform data; calculating the ratio of the sum of first predetermined number of amplitude peaks of a frequency spectrum obtained by carrying out the Fourier transform and the sum of second predetermined number of amplitude peaks, the second predetermined number being smaller than the first predetermined number, with respect to the sum of the first predetermined number of amplitude peaks; and evaluating the comfort of the wearing article based on an association among the sum of the first predetermined number of amplitude peaks, the sum of the second predetermined number of amplitude peaks and a measured value of brain function by means of near-infrared spectroscopy.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
