PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition including a recombinant expression vector element (rEVE) for promote expression of a recombinant protein in a host cell.SOLUTION: Provided is an isolated rEVE polynucleotide molecule comprising a nucleotide base sequence selected from the group consisting of a specific base sequence "ARM1", a base sequence "ARM2" of a sequence 2 and an expression enhancing portion of any of the preceding sequences, in which rEVE polynucleotide present on the same expression vector as a recombinant gene encoding the recombinant protein of interest will enhance the expression level of the recombinant protein in comparison with the expression level in the absence of rEVE. Also described are other compositions and methods for lowering, substantially suppressing, or essentially silencing the recombinant protein expression.
