PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an L-arginine oxidase having a high substrate specificity for L-arginine, which can be used in an enzymatic assay method that can determine L-arginine specifically in a biological sample even in the presence of other amino acids, e.g., in a sample containing various amino acids, to provide an enzymatic method to determine L-arginine using the enzyme, to provide an assay kit usable for the above enzymatic assay method, to provide an enzyme sensor for use in the enzymatic assay method and to provide novel microorganisms producing the L-arginine oxidase.;SOLUTION: An L-arginine oxidase of the invention has a specified amino acid sequence and has a high substrate specificity for L-arginine.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
