PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means of generating no corresponding wait time up to reproduction even for a reproduction instruction of low priority and avoiding a time-out error in whatever reproduction environment a library device which receives a plurality of reproduction instructions at the same time is.;SOLUTION: A plurality of cache memories which retains partial data including heads of data recorded on a plurality of disks respectively is prepared, reproduction speeds are calculated for a plurality of reproduction instructions respectively before the disks get ready to be read, and reproduction from the cache memory is carried out at the calculated reproduction speeds. When the disks get ready to be read, the reproduction from the cache memory is switched to reproduction from the disks.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
