PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fragility curve creation method capable of creating a fragility curve of a buckling restraining brace unit.;SOLUTION: A method of creating a fragility curve indicating a relation between an inter-layer deformation angle and a loss rate in a buckling restraining brace includes: creating a core-distortion/loss-rate relation model by modeling a relation of core distortion and the loss rate while using an average value of the core distortion and standard deviation in buckling restraining brace destruction estimated on the basis of an investigation result of the buckling restraining brace which is actually used; computing distribution of fluctuation 2α caused by a specification of the buckling restraining brace and fluctuation sin2θ caused by a brace angle θ obtained from the investigation result of the actually used buckling restraining brace, respectively; and creating the fragility curve while using the distribution of values indicated by a ratio (sin2θ)/2α of the fluctuation 2α caused by the specification and the fluctuation sin2θ caused by the mounting angle, and the core-distortion/loss-rate relation model.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
