PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate improvement/deterioration of past events desired to be referenced even without knowledge about right/wrong of a predicate described in a natural sentence or a normal value of an index, when determining the improvement/deterioration.SOLUTION: A work history analysis device comprises state change event improvement/deterioration determination means. Regarding a natural sentence description relating to a state after implementation of certain work or a change of the state, for a determination of whether the description indicates improvement or deterioration, on the basis of a rule of consistency predefined for a problem and the state change, it is investigated whether the state change event causes another processing event or consistency with a preceding purpose is taken. Further, similar events of other similar documents are collected and referenced and by an estimation using a majority decision or estimation of a normal range of an attribute, the improvement/deterioration is determined over multiple stages.
