METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PATTERN ON CUTLERY, AND DECORATIVE CHOPSTICKS MANUFACTURED BY THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new cutlery manufacturing art capable of mass producing cutlery efficiently and offering cutlery including decorative chopsticks with excellent decorativeness in the motif of cherry blossoms at low cost, which is easy to wash after use, has a simple shape and achieves high durability.;SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a pattern on cutlery includes the steps of: (A) forming a handle part into a shape having a square cross-section; (B) cutting a handle end at a predetermined inclined angle α to a handle axis into a shape having a flat and/or a curved surface that intersects along one diagonal line to form one inclined end surface 2; (C) forming a petal tip shape part by cutting off a small v shape along the diagonal line from a handle end acute edge of the one inclined end surface 2; (D) forming a petal base part by cutting an obtuse top edge, nearer to a handle tip on the diagonal line than the petal tip shape part, into a curved shape; (E) obtaining a petal-shaped surface which is designed to look like a piece of petal; (G) coloring the petal-shaped surface in light pink; and (H) obtaining a cherry blossom petal-shaped surface.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
