PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cloning method, system and program that takes into account security.SOLUTION: A system for duplicating (cloning) a physical environment to a virtual environment using a CMDB comprises: means to set a confidential level to a property of a component (CI) of the CMDB which manages hardware information and software information of a duplication source; means to transmit information about the CMDB including the CI to which the confidential level is set to a virtual environment construction means connected by a network; and means in which the virtual environment construction means constructs an environment of the duplication source in the virtual environment on the basis of the transmitted CMDB information. The transmission means changes the confidential level of the property of the CI to which the confidential level is set according to an existing confidential policy, and performs transmission.
