PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil sedimentation analytic method capable of easily and rapidly obtaining the ratio of coarse grains (sand) contained in the collected soil in order to investigate the liquefaction.;SOLUTION: In the soil sediment analytic method, the ratio of the volume of the coarse grains (sand) contained in soil is determined. In a first measuring step, the volume of the soil to be determined is measured. In a second measuring step, a measuring vessel storing a mixture produced by stirring the soil and water is stood, then the volume of the deposited soil grains is measured after a lapse of a standby time determined in response to the water temperature and the depth of the mixture.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
