PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection box, or the like, which can diagnose only a diagnosed solar cell string, without causing power generation loss.;SOLUTION: A connection box for connection with a solar cell array having a solar cell string consisting of a series connection of a plurality of solar cell modules includes a positive electrode input signal interruption unit connected with the positive electrode of the solar cell string, and interrupting transmission of a positive electrode input signal, being applied from the positive electrode to the solar cell string for failure diagnosis thereof, or the reflection signal thereof to the reverse side of the solar cell array, and a negative electrode input signal interruption unit connected with the negative electrode of the solar cell string, and interrupting transmission of a negative electrode input signal, being applied from the negative electrode to the solar cell string for failure diagnosis thereof, or the reflection signal thereof to the reverse side of the solar cell array.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
