PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a household electric appliance controller, a household electric appliance control system, and a household electric appliance control method which can transmit information on household electrical appliances in a house to an external server, even in the case of a power failure.SOLUTION: The household electric appliance controller includes a detection section, a first communication section, a second communication section, a selection section, and a control section. The detection section detects whether a supply source which supplies electric power into a house is an external transmission network or a backup power source. The first communication section accesses an external network through a network connection device which receives electric power supply from the external transmission network. The second communication section accesses the external network through a terminal which can operate without receiving the electric power supply from the external transmission network. The selection section selects the first communication section when the supply source detected by the detection section is the external transmission network and selects the second communication section when the supply source detected by the detection section is the backup power source. The control section controls the first communication section or the second communication section which is selected by the selection section to transmit information on household electric appliances in a house to a server.
