PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inductance calculation system and an inductance calculation method which can calculate an inductance value of a motor which corresponds to the change of a current value.SOLUTION: An inductance calculation system 10 has a torque instruction section 11, a motor control section 12, an inverter 13, a voltage measurement section 14, a current measurement section 15, a motor output measurement section 16, a three-phase/two-phase conversion sections 17, 18, and an inductance calculation section 19. The inductance calculation section 19 calculates inductance values (Ld, Lq in Fig. 1) corresponding to dq-axis current values (Id, Iq) in a motor M, on the basis of the dq-axis current values (Id, Iq) and dq-axis voltage values (Vd, Vq) converted in the three-phase/two-phase conversion sections 17, 18 and a rotation speed of the motor M which is measured in the motor output measurement section 16.
