PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endless belt replacement unit and replacement method such that a belt can be replaced without being detached from a core so as to reduce local buckling to a belt surface, and an image heating device.;SOLUTION: There is provided an endless belt replacement unit, used for an image heating device, which includes a backup member coming into close contact with an endless belt member heated by a heating source and rotated in a conveying direction of a recording material carrying an image, a pressing member, an end restriction member 105 having a first state in which displacement of the endless belt member to a direction crossing the conveying direction is restricted and a second state in which the restriction is removed, and an end-side member provided on an end side.
