PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeder storing sheets without removing or deforming a pressing part, and to provide an image forming device.;SOLUTION: The pressing part 24 arranged in a side regulating plate 21 includes a regulating block 20 press-contacted with the side end of the sheets supported by a sheet supporting part, and a rib 20a formed in the upper end of the regulating block 20 and tilted on a sheet side. Moreover, a notch 21c receiving the rib 20a is formed on the upper surface of the side regulating plate 21, and the rib 20a is formed to have a height not protruded upward from the upper surface of the side regulating plate 21.
