PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly smooth out creases of a sheet material with a simple configuration, irrespective of specifications of the sheet material to be conveyed.;SOLUTION: A crease smoothing device 10 includes a pair of rotators 11a which face each other along a width direction of a sheet material S on a side opposite an outer peripheral surface 3a of a third roller 3 across the sheet material S, and supporting shafts 18a for rotatably supporting the rotators 11a. The rotator 11a comprises: a body 13 which is supported by the supporting shaft 18a; a small-diameter roller 12 which is pressed against the sheet material S; and a ring 16 which is pressed against the sheet material S on the inside of the small-diameter roller 12 in a width direction of the sheet material S, and which has an outer peripheral length longer than that of the small-diameter roller 12.
