PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seawater lifting method for lifting seawater present below a land to a high place on the land without needing a strong motor pump when constructing a seawater power plant on the land, while taking into account the fact that existing thermal power plants and nuclear power plants require import and purchasing of raw materials and many problems such as environmental pollution and risks occur.SOLUTION: A sea side pipe 2 and a destination side pipe 3 are laid. A front end of the destination side pipe 3 is closed, water or seawater is poured from an inlet 4 provided at a highest connecting part 1 of both the pipes into the destination side pipe 3, the inlet 4 is closed when the destination side pipe is fully filled with water. Then, the front end of the destination side pipe 3 is opened. Thereby afterwards, water can be continuously lifted in a non-powered manner.
