PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify astronomical information more quickly than conventional ones.;SOLUTION: An astronomical body identification device 100 includes: an astronomical body retrieval database 105b for storing information on a plurality of astronomical bodies; selection means 105 for selecting three astronomical bodies from a plurality of astronomical bodies included in an image; and identification means 105 that compares a length ratio of three straight lines formed by connecting positions of the three astronomical bodies for every set of any three astronomical bodies in the astronomical bodies the information of which is stored in the astronomical body retrieval database 105b, with a length ratio of the three straight lines formed by connecting the three astronomical bodies selected by the selection means 105, and identifies information of the astronomical bodies included in the image in the astronomical body retrieval database 105b.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
