PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation (gamma rays emitted from cesium 137) shielding function-equipped and air conditioning function-equipped vest allowing acquisition of an ideal sensible temperature at which life or work can be performed even under an ultrahigh temperature environment or severe cold environment.SOLUTION: An air conditioning function-equipped vest comprises: a cold air or warm air generation device by heat exchange of thermal energy (high heat, low heat) obtained from a semiconductor; and clothes made of a material in which innumerable bubbles are sealed inside a rubber structure capable of blocking an outside air temperature in part, or clothes made of a flexible foamed resin. In the air conditioning function-equipped vest, the cold air (warm air) generated from the semiconductor cold air/hot air generation device configured as a heat source is present inside the clothes. Though it is thought that a substance completely shielding radioactivity does not exist on the earth (in a stand-alone state) at the present time, a radiation shielding function-equipped vest made of a heavy metal powder-impregnated material can disturb straight traveling of radiation by impregnating heavy metal powder into the rubber structure.
