PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas replacement device of a hydrogen cooling type electric generator that is capable of preventing freezing due to evaporation heat by using nitrogen gas, and aiming at preventing global warming.;SOLUTION: The gas replacement device of the hydrogen cooling type electric generator which replaces hydrogen gas in the electric generator with air comprises: a nitrogen gas bomb with nitrogen gas stored; a first supply pipe which is arranged in the nitrogen gas bomb and the electric generator, and supplies the nitrogen gas in the nitrogen gas bomb into the electric generator; a supply valve arranged in said first supply pipe; a detachable single pipe arranged in the supply valve upstream of the first supply pipe; a discharge pipe which discharges the gas in the electric generator outside of the electric generator; a release valve arranged in the discharge pipe; a second supply pipe for supplying the air in the electric generator; a flexible pipe which is arranged in the second supply pipe, and connected to the supply valve upstream of the first supply pipe; and an oxygen concentration meter which is arranged in the discharge pipe, and measures an oxygen concentration in the discharge pipe.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
