PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pitot tube type flowmeter which is more improved in measuring accuracy than a conventional manner and a measurement method using the pitot tube type flowmeter.;SOLUTION: The pitot tube type flowmeter is configured such that a first pressure tube 2 and a second pressure tube 3 are inserted into an exhaust pipe 1 from a radial direction separately in the axial direction of the exhaust pipe 1, and that measurement holes 8 and 9 of the first pressure pipe 2 and the second pressure pipe 3 are disposed so as to confront and oppose the flowing direction of exhaust gas. A static pressure tube 4 opened to a pipe wall 12 of the exhaust pipe 1 is disposed between the first pressure pipe 2 and the second pressure pipe 3, and when exhaust gas is a forward flow 10, the measurement value of a first differential pressure gauge 5 is adopted as a static pressure, and when the exhaust gas is a counter flow 11, the measurement value of a second differential pressure gauge 6 is adopted as a static pressure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
