PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve estimation precision of an arrival direction of an electromagnetic wave at a reception position.;SOLUTION: The arrival direction estimation device includes a propagation path response calculation part which simulates electric fields and time responses of the magnetic fields at the reception position and a plurality of reception points provided at a predetermined distance from the reception position when the electromagnetic wave is transmitted from a predetermined transmission position; an electric field arrival direction calculation part which calculates the direction in which the electromagnetic wave arrives at the reception position using the time responses of electric field intensity included in simulation results; a magnetic field arrival direction calculation part which calculates the direction in which the electromagnetic wave arrives at the reception position using the time responses of magnetic field intensity included in the simulation results; and an arrival direction selection part which determines the direction in which the electromagnetic wave arrives at the reception position by comparing the direction calculated by the electric field arrival direction calculation part and the direction calculated by the magnetic field arrival direction calculation part with each other.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
