PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a back filling material around a manhole cover from being cracked irregularly, even when bearing power of a base course with respect to the back filling material is reduced or lost in a back filling method of the manhole cover.;SOLUTION: In a method of construction for excavating the pavement around a supporting frame installed in a lower structure for supporting an iron cover, exchanging the supporting frame, compacting a base course exposed by the excavation and back filling the periphery of the supporting frame again, a sheet-shaped dividing member 16 is mounted to surround the outer periphery of a flange part of the supporting frame 12 and the outer periphery of the lower structure 13, a space 20 around the supporting frame is divided into an inside space 21 and an outside space 22 which are parted at positions of the outer periphery of the flange part and the outer periphery of the lower structure, by the dividing member, and the divided inside space and outside space are filled with fillers 23, thereby performing back filling.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
