PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant pressure-sensitive adhesive composition excellent in flame retardancy, as well as in initial adherence and temporal stability of adherence; and a flame-retardant pressure-sensitive tape and flame-retardant pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet both using such a flame-retardant pressure-sensitive adhesive composition.SOLUTION: This flame-retardant pressure-sensitive adhesive composition and the like include an aromatic ring-containing vinyl copolymer as a component (A) and a flame retardant as a component (B), where the flame retardant as the component (B) contains an aromatic phosphate, and the content of the component (B) is within a range of 70-200 pts.wt. relative to 100 pts.wt. of the component (A), and as the monomer components when copolymerizing the component (A), the blending amount of an aromatic ring-containing compound (a) is 20 wt.% or more in the total monomer amount, and the blending amount of a carboxy group-containing vinyl compound (b) is 0 wt.% or within a range of 0-1 wt.% (excluding 0 wt.%).
