PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which enables an image, which makes the tampering difficult, and also, which has a high visibility, to be displayed.SOLUTION: This image displaying element 200 includes: a first layer 201 which does not substantially contain a metal layer, and presents a structural color; a first part P1 which faces a part of the first layer 201, and contains the metal layer; a second layer 202 which faces the other part of the first layer 201, and is equipped with a second part P2 of which the visible light transmittance is higher compared with the first part P1; a third part P3 which faces the second layer 202 with the first layer 201 in-between, or faces the first layer 201 with the second layer 202 in-between, and also, faces the first part P1 and contains a resin; and a third layer 203 which faces the second part P2, and is equipped with a fourth part P4 of which the visible light transmittance is higher compared with the third part P3.
