PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server redundant system, capable of duplicating servers in a system originally having no server redundancy.;SOLUTION: In a server redundant system which includes an operating server S1 and a standby server S2 having an identical IP address, connection between a first router R1 and a third router R3 each connected to the operating server is made through a monitoring port. On detection of a route failure, the third router R3 transmits a link disconnection detection notification to the first router R1, and sets priority lower than a fourth router R4 connected to the standby server, to block a port, subordinate to VRRP, on the transmission device side. The fourth router R4 having higher priority releases the port on the transmission device side by a VRRP function. The first router R1 sets the priority to be lower than the second router R2, and blocks a port, subordinate to VRRP, on the control terminal side.
