PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method for building a source profile installable on any network monitoring points while preventing attacks of spoofed traffic.;SOLUTION: A system and a method for creating the source profile for detecting the spoofed traffic includes the steps of: acquiring routing paths when data traverses between nodes and having at least one target AS; initializing at least one AS set by the last hop AS; expanding the AS set by connecting thereof to a router; filtering observed traffic flows for each of the expanded AS sets; and creating the source profile by associating the expanded AS sets with the network monitoring points using the filtered flows.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
