PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mortar and a pestle causing very little adhesion of powder due to electrostatic force, causing very little adhesion of metallic ion to the powder, and having high wear resistance.;SOLUTION: A mortar 10 including a concave part 10a in which powder can be placed, and a pestle 12 to be used for mixing or pulverizing the powder, contain ZrO₂ in an amount of 50 mass% or more, and are constituted by electric conductive zirconia ceramics containing one or more oxides out of oxides of Fe, Co, Ni, and Cr, thereby causing very little adhesion of the powder due to electrostatic force, causing very little adhesion of metallic ion to the powder, and achieving high wear resistance.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
