PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain PPV that better utilizes available content and provides consumers with more selection and increased viewing flexibility.;SOLUTION: A first platform is provided for accessing, storing and distributing media content, wherein the media content comprises an unrenderable state when received by the first platform. A second platform is provided which is communicatively coupled with the first platform for rendering the stored media content.
