PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a settlement processor for smoothly performing fare adjustment in the case of paying a price such as a fare.;SOLUTION: A settlement processor cooperates with: an electronic ticket for storing the identification information of a user and an available balance for price payment and the getting-on history of a getting-on station or a transfer station or the like; an automatic ticket examination machine for detecting the passage of the electronic ticket, and for permitting a user to enter and leave a station on the basis of the available balance of the electronic ticket; a railroad company server for collecting fares calculated on the basis of the getting-on history stored in the electronic ticket to be sent from the automatic ticket examination machine; and a bank server for managing a bank account. The settlement processor is configured to make a payment from the bank account via the bank server to the railroad company server so that it is possible for the user to smoothly use the station. Even when it is determined that the available balance is less than the fare, the passage permission part of the settlement processor permits the user to pass the automatic ticket examination machine under such conditions that the processing of a settlement support part to make a payment from the bank server to the railroad company server is established.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
