PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal die-cast machine and a die casting method, which can reduce a cycle time in casting, time required for post-process and time required for changing dies, and which can improve productivity.;SOLUTION: The horizontal die-cast machine having two facing die attachment boards comprises: a die attached to one of the die attachment boards; a dummy die attached to the other of the die attachment boards; at least two rotating dies combined with the dies; a rotating die attachment portion which is provided between the die attachment boards, and to which the rotating die can be attached, and which has at least two rotating die attachment faces; and a rotating die supporting device which is configured with the rotating die attachment portion and a supporting portion which supports the rotating die attachment portion so as to rotate around a rotation axis substantially orthogonal to a die opening and closing direction and which moves the rotating die attachment portion in the die opening and closing direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
