PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide "a side ditch block with a retaining wall for constructing a side ditch and a watchman passage", which hardly causes damage such as a crack to a side ditch part even when the side ditch and the watchman passage are constructed in a tunnel such as a road tunnel.;SOLUTION: A thickness Td of a right-side slab part Pd, which is positioned on the downside of a retaining wall part 12, among a top slab part Pa, a bottom slab part Pb, a left-side slab part Pc and the right-side slab part Pd, which are possessed by a side ditch part 11 of a side ditch block 10, is the greatest.
