PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain appropriate light distribution characteristics of a liquid crystal lens by enabling to match each light axis of the liquid crystal lens and a light-emitting portion only with engagement of a case and the liquid crystal lens, in a light-emitting device. PSOLUTION: The light-emitting device 1 is provided with a light-emitting portion 3, a case 2 housing the light-emitting portion 3, and a liquid crystal lens 4 arranged so as to face an opening 22 of the case 2. The case 2 has convex parts 21, and the liquid crystal lens 4 has concave parts 41. By mutual engagement of the convex parts 21 and the concave parts 41, positioning of the case 2 and the liquid crystal lens 4 is made. Here, each light axis of the liquid crystal lens 4 and the light-emitting portion 3 agrees with the other, so that light distribution control of the liquid crystal lens 4 can be appropriately carried out with ease.
