PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality discrimination device and an abnormality discrimination method for a temperature sensor and a power conversion device capable of improving accuracy in abnormality discrimination and shortening a period till an abnormality is discriminated.SOLUTION: An abnormality discrimination device 13 of a thermistor Th (a temperature sensor) includes a condition setting unit 13a for variably setting at least one of a threshold to be reference of abnormality discrimination in the thermistor Th and a duration time on the basis of at least one of the presence/absence of an actuation state in a power conversion device 10 and an output current Iout (an output value) to be output from the power conversion device 10. An abnormality discrimination unit 13b discriminates whether an abnormality occurs in the thermistor Th or not on the basis of the threshold and duration time set by the condition setting unit 13a. By the configuration, a threshold value for the determination of an abnormality can be relaxed or a duration time can be shortened depending on the presence/absence of an actuation state in the power conversion device 10 and the output current Iout, to thereby shorten a period till an abnormality is discriminated.
