PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for monitoring neutrons in a nuclear reactor starting area, which can perform noise suppression allowed to be achieved without sharply changing existing signal lines or power lines, i.e. by a simple means.SOLUTION: A neutron detector 3 detects a nuclear reactor output. A neutron monitoring apparatus 10 converts an output signal from the neutron detector 3, which is transmitted by a signal cable 4 to be a coaxial cable, into a nuclear reactor output. A resonance suppression circuit 15 is arranged on a place where floating capacitor is generated to the coaxial cable, i.e. a place between a shield of the coaxial cable and ground.
