PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic firefly light emitting device which is compact and used as a light emitting ornament even in a single-body configuration where a firefly-shaped body part and a power source part are united, and emits light close to that of a real firefly. PSOLUTION: The electronic firefly light emitting device includes the firefly-shaped body part 2 and the power source part 3 which is attached detachably to the firefly-shaped body part 2 and incorporates a button battery. A cylindrical connector part 4 to which the power source part 3 is attached is provided on a lower surface of the firefly-shaped body part 2. A small-sized substrate 13 in which an LED light emission control circuit 12 is incorporated, an LED 11 connected to the LED light emission control circuit 12, and a color filter 14 through which light is transmitted are provided in the firefly-shaped body part 2. Light of the LED 11 is transmitted through the color filter 14 and a transparent cylindrical block 7 provided to a rear part of the firefly-shaped body part 2 to be emitted out of the firefly-shaped body part 2.
