PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for detecting types and amounts of specific substances contained in electronic equipment and a component mounting substrate by a simple method to make collection of the specific substances efficient.SOLUTION: Regarding electronic equipment containing recyclable specific substances or useful objects which are components of the electronic equipment, useful object libraries having data structure obtained by associating pieces of feature data representing features of the useful objects to be utilized for object recognition by a computer are associated with pieces of contained substance data representing the types and the amounts of the specific substances contained in the useful objects are prepared for every type of the useful object. An electronic equipment analyzer specifies to what useful object an analysis object corresponds by comparing information to be obtained from the analysis object with the pieces of feature data of the respective useful objects in the useful object libraries, and determines the types and the amounts of the specific substances contained in the analysis object by acquiring the contained substance data of the corresponding useful object from the useful subject libraries.
