PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet generator-motor that eliminates the need for a separate oil circulation device, a separate oil cooling device, and outside installation of oil pipes, that allows oil pipes to be routed in a simple configuration, and that has high cooling effect.;SOLUTION: A permanent magnet generator-motor includes: a housing 18; a bracket 2; a stator 1 that has a stator core 110 and armature windings 14; a rotor 130 that has a rotor core 131, a plurality of permanent magnets 133, and a shaft 6 that is rotatably supported by a bearing 5; and an oil reservoir that is formed by the housing 18 and the bracket 2. The housing 18 has a cooling water path 9 inside. In the bracket 2, a gear pump 4 is provided in conjunction with the bearing 5. The oil reservoir has: a main oil reservoir 7 where the armature windings 14 and the stator core 110 arranged at lower positions are immersed in oil; and an auxiliary oil reservoir 8 that is connected to the main oil reservoir 7 through a small hole 16. The gear pump 4 pumps oil up from the auxiliary oil reservoir 8 through an oil pipe 301 fitted in the small hole 16, and ejects the oil toward the armature windings 14 arranged at upper positions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
