The artificial versatile characteristic trunk (iPS) being method in order to manufacture the cell, the step which it cultures the step which at least introduces trunk cell versatile sex factor of 1 kinds into the somatic cell (step 1) with, the somatic cell where trunk cell versatile sex factor is introduced with step 1, making use of the nutrient medium where the lithium salt is added (step 2) with, the step which identifies the artificial versatile characteristic trunk cell and characterizes (step 3) with, the method of including is offered. In addition, being the nutrient medium in order to manufacture the artificial versatile characteristic trunk cell, the nutrient medium which includes the lithium salt is offered. The nutrient medium where the lithium salt is added is used in order to induce the versatile characteristic trunk cell efficiently. As for the lithium salt, it is possible to increase production efficiency of the mouse iPS cell to 5 - 60 times. Method of main inventing in order to induce the iPS cell is profitable in improvement of safety of iPS technology and application of the iPS cell to playback medical science.
