PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing iron oxide-contained material by further efficiently heat-treating with a micro-wave irradiation to the iron oxide-contained material including hematite and goethite as the main components or the method that the same result can be obtained by using the above heat-treatment with the micro-wave irradiation even in the case that a reducing agent seldom exists.;SOLUTION: The method for reducing the iron oxide-contained material with the micro-wave heating is the followings that the iron oxide containing at least anyone in the hematite and the goethite contained in the iron oxide-contained material is reduced with the micro-wave irradiation having the frequency in the range of 20-30 GHz to the iron oxide-contained material containing at least anyone of the hematite and the goethite.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
