PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microorganism and microorganism composition having organic waste-decomposing action which is different from those microorganism used in the prior art, and to provide a method of decomposing the organic waste comprising decomposing the organic waste in extremely short time using the microorganism, generating less malodor, and to provide a method of manufacturing compost. PSOLUTION: The microorganism composition consisting of Paenibacillus sp. THU0001 (FERM P-21614), Bacillus sp. THU3710 (FERM P-21616), Bacillus ginsengihumi THU4501 (FERM P-21617), Brevibacterium sp., and Bacillus sp.
