PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience of the visually handicapped in general daily life by a life support system for the visually handicapped which supports daily life of the visually handicapped using an IC chip.;SOLUTION: The life support system for visually handicapped includes an IC chip 1 fitted to a search object G, a braille display 2, and a portable terminal device 3 that a visually handicapped person M puts on a hand or finger. The IC chip 1 is to transmit place information to the portable terminal device 3 continuously for a certain time on a contactless basis through contactless access by the portable terminal device 3. The braille display 2 is to display information associated with the search object G in braille. The portable terminal device 3 has a vibrating element inside, and makes vibrations from the vibrating element larger or smaller according to whether the place information received from the IC chip 1 is strong or weak.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
