PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyvalent ion conductive electrolyte which enables polyvalent electric charge transportation using magnesium, has a large ion conductivity, and is excellent in the stability of supply and safety, a polyvalent ion conductive material suitable to manufacture the electrolyte, a polyvalent ion conductive electrolyte-electrode assembly in which the electrolyte is used, and a polyvalent ion battery having the electrolyte-electrode assembly.SOLUTION: The polyvalent ion conductive material comprises: at least one of unsaturated bond type nitrogen atom-containing salt [RRXN](Z), [RR(X-L=)N](Z), and [RRXXN](Z); at least one of nitrogen atom-containing salt [RRWN](Z), and [RR(W-L=)N](Z); a polyvalent ion salt Mg((YSO)N(Y)); and a metal-oxygen bond type structure including a cross-linked structure formed by metal-oxygen bonding.
