PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for estimating the parameters of a cascade connection transfer system of a nonlinear system and a linear system.;SOLUTION: Out of countless solutions in an approximation error equation which the update values of nonlinear system estimation parameters and the update values of linear system estimation parameters must satisfy, combinations of values where the sum of the size (square value) of update values of nonlinear system estimation parameters and the size (square value) of update values of linear system estimation parameters is minimum is calculated while reflecting the difference of degree of model, thus obtaining a unique solution where the update values of nonlinear system estimation parameters and the update values of linear system estimation parameters are balanced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
