PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treatment metal material excelling in an electromagnetic wave shielding property, having excellent corrosion resistance, and exhibiting an excellent electromagnetic wave shielding property in a frequency range of 30-1,000 MHz, and a housing for an electronic apparatus.;SOLUTION: In the surface treatment metal material excelling in an electromagnetic wave shielding property, at least one-side surface is covered with an insulating coating formed of an organic substance, an inorganic substance or both of them and having a thickness of 0.2-8 μm; the coated surface includes an electricity-carryable part 1 with a base metal locally exposed; and when one optional point is selected on the coated surface, in an optional triangle 2 including the point inside, the maximum value of circumferential lengths CT of triangles having the smallest circumference and respectively contacting three of the parts capable of carrying a current at three vertexes thereof is not larger than 700 μm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
