PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting screen coordinate position which is configured such that a high resolution electronic camera directed from a screen toward a light-emitting terminal such as a gun controller, images a double circular infrared marker attached to an end of the light-emitting terminal, and a coordinate position on the screen indicated by the light-emitting terminal is detected.;SOLUTION: The electronic camera 11 images the double circular marker 17 on the gun controller 15, the position of the double circular marker in a camera coordinate system is obtained, and the coordinate position on a display 3 to which the gun controller is directed and its direction are obtained by calculation processing by an image processor 18.
