Soft decision decoder and soft decision decoding program

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft decision decoding device and a soft decision decoding program that keep a correcting capability intact even when an amplifier gain changes.;SOLUTION: A variance value calculation section 22 receives a gain of a variable gain amplifier 6 and calculates a variance value of noise components included in a received signal from the received gain. A multiplication/division section 26 calculates a log likelihood ratio from the received signal output from the variable gain amplifier 6 and the calculated variance value. An error correcting decoding section performs error correcting decoding of the received signal in the unit of a received signal constituting a single codeword according to the log likelihood ratio.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
