PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate precise recognition of a special object with auditory perception without touching the object.SOLUTION: An image auditory perception device 1 includes: imaging means 2; sound production means 3; image processing means 41 for obtaining a processed image SP composed of a plurality of dots DT; producing sound determination means 44 for determining a sound to be produced from the sound production means 3; special object recognition means 42 for recognizing a portion having a predetermined appearance element in a picked-up image as a predetermined special object; and position detection means 43 for detecting the position of the special object in the processed image SP. The producing sound determination means 44 represents the position of dots DT along a X axis direction by difference in arrival time of sound to reach right and left ears and represents the position of dots DT along a Y axis direction by a frequency allocated to each line of dots DT. The sound production means 3 produces a sound according to a portion where at least a special object is located among dots DT.
